Iran increases electricity supplies to Pakistan

Iran's Deputy Energy Minister Mohammad Behzad said that new agreements
had been reached between Tehran and Islamabad, according to which the
volume of Iranian electricity exports to Pakistan will grow up to
1,000 MW, Iran News reports.

Mohamed Behzad said that new transmission lines will be built in order
to increase electricity exports.

Mohammad Behzad reminded that last year new facilities needed for the
delivery of electricity to Pakistan were built, which allowed the volume
of exports to be doubled.
