Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili welcomes the Hungarian low-budget airline Wizz Air on the Georgian market, Business-Georgia
reports. The president talked about the decrease in prices on air
fairs due to new agreements reached between Georgia and the low-cost
airline.
The decrease in prices will be made possible after the construction of
an airport in Kutaisi. "This airport will force Tbilisi and Batumi
airports to reduce the cost of flights," Saakashvili said.
Wizz Air will operate flights between Kutaisi and Kiev. According to
preliminary data, the cost of the flight will be about 50 euros.
