The head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, has denied rumors regarding the
alleged intention of Gazprom to buy a share of BP in the
Russian-British oil company TNK-BP, Gazeta.ru .
At the end of last week the Financial Times reported that BP has
already received an offer from Russia's state-owned company to buy its
stake in TNK-BP. Sources told the publication that the share of BP was
claimed by "Rosneft" and "Gazprom".
Earlier, the head of "Rosneft" Igor Sechin denied this information.
