China invests $3 billion in North Caucasus tourism

The North Caucasus Resorts (Russia) and Chinese companies Dalian Wanda Group and China Oceanwhite Holdings Group will sign a trilateral investment deal to build tourism complexes and housing, as stated by Ahmed Bilalov, deputy head of the committee for international affairs of the Federation Council and head of the Russian company's board, ITAR-TASS reports.


The Chinese companies plan to invest $2.5-3 billion. They have already visited construction sites in Dagestan and Krasnodar Territory. They are interested in one of Russia's oldest cities Derbent. The companies built the Changbaishang skiing resort.
