Iran is going to double gas production to 1.2 billion cubic meters a day over the next five years, vice-president of the Iranian National Oil Company Abdolmohammed Delparish said during his visit to the Moscow Oil and Gas Congress, ITAR-TASS reports.
According to Delparish, Iran will need $250 billion of investments to achieve this target. It is expected that about 15 new oil-fields will be developed in Iran over the next five years.
