Russian Vice Premier Igor Shuvalov says that purchase of a share in TNK-BP is only fruitful if the companies price rises. Such decisions are made by the government, RIA Novosti reports.
50% of the Russian-British company TNK-BP belongs to BP, the rest to AAR (25% of Mikhail Fridman’s Alpha Group, 12.5% to Victor Vekselberg’s Renova and 12.5% to Leonard Blavatnik’s Access Industries). AAR announced readiness for the purchase earlier.
