The Russian automobile company Derways, currently engaged in the assembly of
Chinese vehicles in Karachaevo-Cherkessia, is planning to continue the
assembly of cars in Stavropol Territory, RIA-Novosti reports with
reference to the deputy premier of the region, Viktor Shurupov.
Shurupov said that the company is aiming to produce from 50 to 60
thousand cars per year.
"We are ready to support them and create favorable conditions, but in
the interests of the region, rather than personal relations. We have
everything - good nature, infrastructure, staff capacity and, above
all, political will," Shurupov saod.
The car company Derways was founded in 2002.
