Dagestan, Stavropol conclude agreement on trade development

The authorities of Dagestan and Stavropol Territory have signed an
agreement on the development of commercial and scientific relations,
designed to improve the investment climate of the region, RIA Novosti
reports.

The agreement was signed by the head of Dagestan, Magomedsalam Magomedov,
and the governor of Stavropol Territory, Valery Zerenkov, at the
economic forum currently taking place in the Dagestani city of
Kaspiisk.

"I am confident that this agreement will allow us to work together to
improve the investment climate in our regions," the head of Dagestan
commented at the signing of the agreement.


He noted that the republic has had difficulties in relationships with Stavropol.

"However, the new management of the region reacted with all
understanding to the problems of Dagestanis living in Stavropol
Territory," he said.
