SOCAR expands its presence on Georgian market

On June 22nd the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR)
and Georgia Petroleum, a sister company of SOCAR Energy Georgia (in
the SOCAR structure) opened two new petrol stations, one on Moscow
Avenue and one near Naftulug bazaar in Tbilisi, 1news.az reports,
citing a message from SOCAR.


The head of the SOCAR office in Georgia, director general of SOCAR
Energy Georgia, Makhir Mamedov, and other officials were present at
the opening.


This makes a total of 34 operating petrol stations under the SOCAR
brand. SOCAR supplies Georgia with 20 thousand tons of oil products
per month, 15 thousand tons of which are gas.
