New "Istanbul" to be built on northern Black Sea cost

A "New Istanbul" will be built on the northern Black Sea coast of
Turkey. The population of the city of the future will be about a
million. The world's largest airport will become one of the main
buildings in the city, DELFI reports.

The large-scale construction project is related to Istanbul's bid for
the Summer Olympic Games in 2020.

Employees of the Istanbul Center for Planning and Design under the
direction of American Architecture and Design Office Urban Green
Global have been working on the project for five months starting with
the summer of 2011. The project of "New Istanbul" has already been
approved.
