Putin to visit air base in Krasnodar Territory

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit the 393rd air base of the Air Forces Korenovsk in the Krasnodar Territory on June 14, ITAR-TASS reports.

The Russian Air Forces will mark the 100th anniversary. Putin will award the base with the Order of Kutuzov and observe the latest vehicles. He will also discuss preparations to mark the 100th anniversary on August 12.

The Air Forces were established as part of the General Staff in August 1912. Moscow and Saint-Petersburg will hold celebrations. Delegations of air forces of some 79 foreign states will arrive for the air show. 9 pilot groups from various states want to take part.

The president is also expected to visit Rosneft refineries in Tuapse and Novorossiysk.
