Kazakhstan plans to double the share of small and medium-scale business in the economic structure to 40% in 8 years, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said on Friday, News Kazakhstan reports.
The share of small and medium-scale business in the GDP structure of 2011 increased from 17% to 21%. Nazarbayev noted that business cannot keep up with the industrialization pace of Kazakhstan. Nonetheless, Kazakhstan is providing business with all possible opportunities.
