Currently, the assets of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) are more than $21 billion, vice-president of SOCAR on economic issues, Suleyman Gasimov, told reporters during a meeting of the Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC), 1news.az reports.
Gasimov said that, in addition, SOCAR has 2 billion manats of borrowed funds.
Gasimov also spoke about placing registered securities on the London Stock Exchange, whilst noting that the possibilities of placing the securities on the domestic market are also being studied.
