The capital of North Ossetia, Vladikavkaz, is among the top 3 cities of the Doing Business in Russia-2012 rating, region15 reports.
The rating was composed by the World Bank and the International Financial Corporation. It includes 30 cities and was presented at the Saint-Petersburg Economic Forum. The rating is based on the simplicity of registering a business, receiving a construction permit and communications.
Ulyanovsk and Saransk are the leaders in the rating. Moscow takes the lowest position.
Zaur Kuchiyev, an economic advisor of the government, said that business is developing well, judging by the number of small business structures opening and individual businessmen emerging. Medical services have been improving in the last years, he explained. Communication and use of new technologies are related to business.
