Turkey to pass sanctions against Syria

 

Turkey has developed a complex of sanctions against Syria to speed up resignation of President Bashar al-Assad, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, RIA Novosti reports.

Turkey has confidence that Syria shot its jet down on purpose Ankara is requesting the UN, NATO, EU, OIC to take measures against Damascus. Vice Premier Bulent Arinc reminds that aggression against a NATO members is punished with a response of the alliance, according to article 4 of the Washington Treaty.

A Turkish RF-4E left the Erhac airbase in the Malatya Province on Friday. Radars lost it in about 1.5 hours after taking off at the Hatay Province. Syria said that the jet was shot down for violating the aerospace over its territorial waters.
