Two criminal cases have been initiated against former Director of Dagestan Airlines Mirza Omariyev and Incumbent Director General Zhabir Abakarov, Interfax reports.
The Main Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry in the NCFD says that financial inspection of the company was organized at the republican airport in early 2012. Omariyev caused a financial damage of 198.466 million rubles in January 2009 – July 2011. The new director general was involved in similar activities and made over 33 million rubles in August – December 2011 buying jet fuel.
The total financial damage reached 231.5 million rubles.
