The Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS) has signed an agreement with the European Energy Exchange to form an energy exchange market in Turkey, Trend reports on Friday.
Turkish Deputy Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Metin Cilci noted the importance of such exchange as a bridge between Asia and Europe.
Details about formation of the exchange will be discussed by the European Energy Exchange and the Turkish Energy Ministry.
