Gazprom has decided to build an analogue of Skolkovo to modernize technologies for transport and extraction of gas, Izvestia reports.
It will be a facility smaller than the Skolkovo innovation center and will be located at Troitsk on the outskirts of Moscow.
Gazprom has already made developments in pipeline construction in Tyumen (southern area of Russia), a partner of RusEnergy Mikhail Krutikhin said.
President of the Russian Gas Society Oleg Zhilin believes that what matters is stress on science, rather than “innovations”, the term common for Skolkovo.
