Georgian Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili promised to help organize exports of Georgian products to Ukraine, Georgia Online reports.
Merabishvili described priorities of the government for the upcoming 4 years.
The PM said that there were plans to build a large warehouse in Ukraine to keep fruits and vegetables. The products would then be exported to western states of Europe.
Merabishvili noted that he had studied Kakheti and believes that it is a unique place for growing peaches. It ripens there a month earlier than in Eastern Europe, Ukraine and Poland and three weeks earlier than in Shida Kartli.
