Nothing threatens the stability of the lari in the medium and long term perspectives, the president of the National Bank of Georgia Giorgi Kadagidze said, Trend reports.
Kadagidze said that the exchange rate of the lari will always fluctuate, both in terms of strengthening and depreciation. But nothing threatens its stability in the long-term and medium periods, as the lari is strengthened by a foreign exchange reserve. The official rate of the lari in early June reached a four-year high and fixed at a rate of 1.8 to the US dollar.
