Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has met EU Special Representative for Central Asia Pierre Morel, who will soon be replaced by Patricia Flor, Trend reports.
The sides exchanged views on cooperation, including collaboration in the energy sector. Flor emphasized activation of cooperation in politics, economy, humanitarian and ecological areas.

Turkmengaz started construction of the East-West Pipeline to link reserves of hydrocarbons in the Caspian Sea. Ashkhabad wants to transport its petroleum to European markets through the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan and Turkey.
