Oil pipeline from Iraq blown up in Turkey

An explosion has occurred at the Kirkuk-Yumurtalik oil pipeline in the Turkish city of Mardin, newspaper SABAH reported.

 

Oil pumping was stopped as a result of the explosion.

 

According to preliminary reports, the explosion was carried out by militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party.

 

The incident occurred on Friday at 23:00 local time. The explosion at the pipeline caused a fire.
