The opening ceremony of a new metallurgical plant was held recently in Natanz, making it the largest steel plant in the Middle East, reports Iran news.
The construction of the third section of the Natanz steelworks started in 2006 at an estimated cost of $280 million. The expected production capacity will be up to 1 million tons of steel a year.
