Construction of Aragvi power plant starts in Georgia

Construction of the Aragvi Hydro Power Plant (HPP) over the White Aragvi River has started in Eastern Georgia, the Georgian Energy Ministry said, Trend informs.

The construction company "Peri" is constructing the HPP on the order of JSC Energo Aragvi.

Under the project, the annual output of the HPP will hit 50 million kilowatt hours.

Construction should be completed in 2015. Some $11 million will be invested in the construction.
