Russia doesn't show an interest for participation in the project of building of gas main "Nabukko", the head of Ministry of Foreigh Affairs of Russia said, RIA Novosti reports.
Project "Nabukko" includes gas transportation in european countries across Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgary, Hungary, Rumania and Austria. Some occidental politicians told about possibility of annexation of Russia to the project and combination of part of the gas main with "South stream".
"We are not interested in "Nabukko", and whose people, who are doing this project, should estimate their abilities themselves" Lavrov said.
