The chairman of the first conference "Mining industry - opportunities and challenges", Modjtab Fatkhi, announced that Iran has information about 57 billion tons of proven mineral resources and is one of the richest countries regarding this factor, Iran News reports.
He also noted that there are 68 of different kinds of minerals. It is expected that Iran will produce 1.277 billion tons of mineral resources by 2025. Fatkhi added that achieving these aims will require efforts and developments from all branches of industry.
