One more airport might be constructed in Azerbaijan

"Maybe there will be an airport in the future and [...] as I said, the construction of an airport in Naftalan is being considered," Mammadov said.

He added that there are 6 airports in Azerbaijan.

On the issue of aircraft fleet upgrade, Mammadov said 46 aircraft out of 70 in operation are new. Azerbaijani Airlines and the private airline

Silk Way received four new liners this year, and one more will be received by the end of the year. All of them are Boeing-747s and Boeing-767s, meeting all the required standards.
