Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, is among the top 3 CIS capitals in terms of average wages, the CIS International Statistical Committee said, CA-News reports.
Moscow was the wealthiest capital of the CIS in 2011 with an average wage of $1354. The average wage in Astana was $827, in Baku $596.
The average wage in Bishkek was $285, Dushanbe (Tajikistan) $150 per month.
The highest rate of wage growth was registered in Kyrgyzstan (+31.3%), Tajikistan (+18.7%), Kazakhstan (+13.9%).
