Plane from Antalya makes emergency landing in Simferopol

A Boeing-737 flying from Turkey’s Antalya to Crimea made an emergency landing in Simferopol, RIA Novosti reports.

148 people were on board. The plane landed at 10.45 am. Spokeswoman of the airport Alina Zubkova said that the plane belongs to UTair-Ukraine, a subsidiary of UTair (Russia).

UTair was the top 3rd Russian air company in 2011. The UTair Group includes UTair, UTair-Express, UTair-Cargo, Nefteyugansky OAO, Helisur, UTair Europe s.r.o. and UTair South Africa (Pty) Ltd, Turuhan, Vostok, UTair India.

The company has 210 planes and over 340 helicopters.
