Stavropol Territory to develop industrial parks

The Stavropol Territory will present three industrial park projects worth 124.4 billion rubles at the 11th international investment forum Sochi-2012 on September 20-23, RIA Novosti reports.

This includes the parks in Nevinnomyssk, Budennovsk, processing of gas from the Northern Caspian, Stavrolen, a subsidiary of LUKOIL.

The industrial park of Budennovsk was formed in 2011, covering 60 hectares. It processes Caspian gas. About 110 billion rubles will be invested in Stavrolen to process 2 billion cubic meters of gas annually. The gas refinery will be launched in 2016. 8,000 new workplaces will open.

Polipropilen will produce pipes and paper and polyethylene bags at the industrial park. Over 460 million rubles were invested. LUKOIL-Stavropolenergy is building a thermal power plant. 7.7 billion rubles were invested. Both projects will give additional 300 workplaces.

Stavropol will have another industrial park with over 77 hectares.

Stavropolsky Pivovarenny Zavod, Stavropolskaya Konditerskaya Fabrika, Agrotekhprom, Stavropolsky MDS PMK, Rossiyskaya Mebelnaya Korporatsiya and Essen Production AG want to open business at the park. About 2 billion rubles will be invested.

The industrial park in Nevinnomyssk will expand from 200 hectares to 500 hectares. DerWeis Industrial (Cherkessk) plans to build a car factory worth over 4.3 billion rubles. The factory will manufacture 100,000 cars a year.

The Stavropol Territory has 11 new zone for industry, petrochemistry, agricultural industry, tourism and recreation.
