Turkey reduces Iranian oil imports

Turkey reduced oil imports from Iran by 23.2% in June 2012, compared with the same period in June 2011, Trend reports.

Turkey imported 683,500 tons of oil from Iran in June 2012 and 889,600 tons in June 2011.

Saudi Arabia was the second largest exported of oil to Turkey. 399,000 tons were imported in June 2012 and 290,000 in June 2011.

Most diesel fuel was imported from India, 254,000 tons. Most aircraft fuel was imported from Kuwait in June, totaling 40,000 tons.
