The police of Kabardino-Balkaria have detained another suspect, director of the Kapitoliy Company, accused of the theft at the Pension Fund office in Kabardino-Balkaria, RIA Novosti reports.
He is believed to be part of a group that stole over 103 million rubles from the Pension Fund. He was accused of fraud two hours ago.
The executive of the Pension Fund office in Kabardino-Balkaria Khasanbi Sheojev was detained in Nalchik on July 14.
The case was initiated against director of Kapitoliy and some unidentified people in June 2011. The administrator of the Pension Fund office was a CEO of the Nalchiksky Elektrovakuumny Zavod (electric and vacuum factory of Nalchik) and sold real estate of the factory to Kapitoliy to a relative for 3.1 million rubles. He purchased the property for the Pension Fund for 106.5 million rubles in October 2010, stealing over 60 million from the state budget.
Sheojev was detained for two months. The Pyatigorsk City Court put him under home arrest last week due to the functionary’s health problems. He will be monitored by the cardio center of Nalchik.
