"Kuban Airlines" enters the top five airlines in Russia in number of flights delayed

"VIM-Avia” delayed more flights than other Russian airlines in July 2012. The airline delayed 176 of 674 of its flights, representing 26.11% of the total. In addition, 24 flights of "VIM Avia" were late in arriving at the destination by more than 6 hours, RBC reports with reference to the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia).

The top five airlines in Russia according to delays in July 2012 were "Kuban Airlines" (14.04% flights delayed, 175 of 1246), "Fly Eye" (10.86% flights delayed, 43 of 396), "North Wind "(9.36% flights delayed, 97 of 1036) and "Ural Airlines" (9.32% flights delayed, 268 of 2874).

The most diligent airline from Russia by the end of July was "Nordavia" which delayed only 7 of its 1077 flights (0.65%). However, none of the regular flights of the airline was delayed by more than 4 hours.

The passengers of large airlines were also quite rarely forced to wait. The share of delayed flights of "Siberia" was 2.89% (167 of 5786 flights), of "Transaero" - 3.03% (196 of 6460 flights), of "UTair-Express" - 3.06% (32 of 1045 flights), and of "Aeroflot" - 3.18% (439 of 13,814 flights).
