Representative of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) Elmar Mamedov said that the financial deal signed on development of the Shah Deniz Field (BP, SOCAR and Total) and the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) will not harm Nabucco West, Trend reports.
The official explains that the document adds legal security.
The deal was signed in early August to finance the gas field development until the final decision on the route to export fuel to Europe. The funds set in the document will finance activities in 2013. The companies developing Shah Deniz may purchase up to 50% of TAP.
