South Ossetia has collected over 95% of the harvest of early crops, the
Deputy Minister of Agriculture Dzhambolat Kozayev said, IA "Res" reports.
According to him, harvesting of early crops is to be completed by the
end of this week.
In addition, he noted that farmers had started plowing the fields for
winter and spring crops.
"The plan is to plow 1,500 hectares for winter crops for this
year and 1000 hectares for the summer crops in 2013. We have recently
begun plowing winter crops, because the earlier work was hindered by drought," Kozayev said.
