Armavia does not plan to exploit Russia’s Sukhoi Superjet-100 repaired at the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company, ArmenianReport reports.
Armavia sent the plane for repairing and refused to take it back. The Armenian air company explained that it cannot cover all the expenses to exploit the jet.
Armavia and the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft signed the deal on purchase of two SSJ-100s in 2010. Exploitation of the first jet started in 2011, the second one was planned to arrive in the second half of 2012, but was scrapped by Armavia.
