The harvest of grain in the current agricultural year will not exceed 75 million tons, although it was expected to be 80 million
tons, Russian Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fedorov said in an
interview to Russia-24.
"We started our prognosis at 94 million tons - at the level of the
previous year when the harvest was good. Until recently we were
expecting 75-80 million tons, but today it hardly makes sense to talk
about 80 million, most likely it will not be more than 75 million
tons," the Minister explained.
