The Department for Geophysics and Geology of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) and Russia’s Integra-Geofizica have concluded 3D seismological studies of 70 square kilometers of the Govsan-Zikh Field, Trend reports.
The studies were ordered by Absheron Operating Company LTD.
Previous field activities were concluded in January 2012. 3D studies were made to clarify the geological composition and the range of hydrocarbons, analyze oil and gas reserves.
A section 6-8 km deep was studied.
