If projects of SOCAR in Turkey are implemented as planned,
theAzerbaijani investment to the Turkish economy in 2023 will reach $
20 billion, said Kenan Yavuz, the head of SOCAR Turkey Energy, a board
member of the petrochemical complex Petkim, in an interview with
Turkish information site Rotahaber.
According to him, SOCAR to 2018 plans to increase investments in the
Turkish economy to $ 17 billion, to bring them to $ 20 billion by
2023, reports 1news.az. "This is a very important indicator of the
development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey. If
SOCAR projects in Turkey are implemented as planned, it could easily
enter the top three companies in Turkey, along with such giants as
Koch and Sapanca, " said Yavuz.
