Six new factories producing construction materials will be built in Karachay-Cherkessia, leader of the republic Rashid Temrezov said, Interfax reports.
The official said that the Urupsky, Khabezsky and Ust-Jegutinsky Districts have about 700 million cubic meters of gypsum deposits.
One of Russians largest manufacturers of construction materials will open a factory at the Zelenchuksky gypsum deposit containing 55 million tons of the material.
