The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) said that few Iranians have Internet connection of 1.5 Mb/s and over, Trend reports.
Professor Ali Akbar Jalili of the Iranian Science-Technological University said that less than 1% of Iranians have traffic of 1.5 Mb/s.
Iranian Minister for Communication and Information Technologies Reza Tagipur said on August 13 that the country was planning to increase traffic from 520 GB/s to 2 TB/s before March 2016.
