Iranian Natanz nuclear facility visited by foreign leader for the first time

The Iranian authorities have allowed a foreign leader to visit the
nuclear facility in Natanz for the first time, RIA-Novosti reported on
Monday, citing Associated Press and local media.

The President of Mongolia, Elbegdorj Tsakhia, inspected centrifuges at the plant.

The facility at Natanz, which is located in central Iran, is regularly
attended by inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency
(IAEA) in the framework of a bilateral agreement. The authorities of
the Islamic Republic have earlier opened the doors of the facility to
foreign diplomats and journalists, but it is the first time that
it has been visited by a foreign leader.
