Baku to open Flame Tower

The Flame Tower, which is located opposite the parliament building (on the site of the former hotel "Moscow" , symbolizes the eternal flame of Azerbaijan - the country of lights, the community organisation 'Participants in the property market' said in its magazine "Emlak bazar", Trend reports.

The total area of the complex, which will consist of three towers, is 234,500 square meters. The first 33-storey building will be
residential and consist of 130 apartments. The second tower, the Northern, will consist of 30 floors, and operate as a hotel with 250 rooms. The third tower, the Western, will consist of 28 floors, and operate as a business center.

The contractor, DIA Holding Azerbaijan, reported that construction of the facility began in October 2007 and will be completed in April 2011.
