Iran, India to start barter trade of oil

Iranian Energy Minister Majid Namju said that Iran will sign a barter deal with India. Foreign sanctions do not allow Iran to sell oil for euro or dollars, Mehr reports.

Oil imports from Iran to India dropped by over 40%, compared with the previous year. India is the fourth largest oil importer.

Four resolutions of the UNSC have been passed against Iran. The EU imposed an embargo on oil purchases from Iran on July 1.
