Rosavtodor branch in the North Caucasus plans the reconstruction of the Kavkaz Highway (M-29) for over 5.5 billion rubles, Lenta.ru reports.
Over 1.43 billion rubles will be spent on the reconstruction of the section between the 502nd and 507th km in North Ossetia and 1.3 billion on reconstruction of the section between the 612th and 622nd km in Chechnya.
686.7 million rubles will be spent on the reconstruction of the section between the 339th and 343rd km in the Stavropol Territory. Over 2 billion rubles will be spent on the purchases of inventory for the highway.
Reconstruction in North Ossetia will be completed before December 20, 2015, in Chechnya before September 20, 2015, in the Stavropol Territory before December 20, 2013.
The Kavkaz Highway runs from Krasnodar to the Russian-Azerbaijani border. It is 1118 km long.
