Agricultural production grows in Karachai-Cherkessia

The agricultural production in Karachay-Cherkessia has increased by 11.5% from January-July 2012 and amounted to 7,844,500,000 rubles, Interfax-South reports referring to a representative of Russian State Statistical Service.

The representative added that by the end of July this year, the number of livestock on republic's farms has increased by 7.6% when compared with the amount of stock in the August of 2011. The number of cows increased by 12.9% and the number of sheep and goats - by 18.5%.
