Iran has upgraded one of its MiG-29 fighters. According to the Commander of the Air Forces of Iran, Hassan Shah-Safi, the upgrading work took place on the airbase in the city of Tabriz, in the north-west of the country, over several years. Hassan Shah-Safi stressed that the improvements were carried out by Iranian specialists.
The Air Forces Commander did not specify what specific improvements were made.
