Iran completes construction of largest bunkering barge

ISOICO, the Iran Shipbuilding & Offshore Industries Complex Co.) has
completed the construction of the largest bunkering (fueling) barge in
the Middle East. The construction took place in the city of Bandar-
Abbas, Iran News reports.

The barge's capacity is 15 thousand tons of fuel, aimed at refuelling
ships passing through the Persian Gulf.

The largest existing barge has a capacity of only 5 thousand tons.

About $11.5 million has been invested in construction of the barge.
