A special commission formed by the Adygeya government has concluded that the waters of the Belaya River caused by a landslide that have been muddy for over half a year will become clear again in a few years, Vice Premier of Adygeya for tourism development Vladimir Petrov told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
The landslide happened in the second half of December 2011. Water in the river used by Maikop and the Maikop District cannot be used. Sevkavgiprovodkhoz studied the problem.
Petrov denied rumours about flood risks caused by lakes formed by the landslide.
