British company to build wind power plant in Turkey

The British energy company RES plans to build a wind power station with a capacity of 48 megawatts in the Turkish province of Samsun, Trend reports today with reference to the Haberturk newspaper.

The project is estimated to cost $75 million, will start in 2014 and be completed by 2016. It is reported that the company previously implemented projects with a power generation capacity of 170 megawatts.

The company also intends to implement more projects for the production of wind and solar energy in the next ten years.
